I first visited the forests with my family when I was 8 years old, that one week vacation made sure that all the subsequent vacations belonged to the forest.
With a career of 13+ years in the conservation sphere in India, I have dabbled with several roles which allowed me to connect with the local stakeholders and work in tandem with the forest department to ensure co-existence of man & wild.

Man-Animal Conflict Mitigation Strategy

Worked extensively with communities living in forest fringes by creating dialogue between them and the forest department, supplemented with awareness & outreach initiatives.

Ecotourism Practices involving Locals

Creating unique experiences of interacting with tribes, locals living in close quarters with wildlife and exchanging notes about conservation while celebrating their traditions & beliefs.
